Intense Pulse Light (IPL) Treatment for Dry Eye and Aesthetics
NEW REVOLUTIONARY TREATMENT, RECENTLY FDA APPROVED
Intense Pulse Light (IPL) treatment is the latest technology to help with Dry Eye (MGD), Photo-rejuvenation, Active Acne, Rosacea, and Facial Hair Removal.
Light Therapy provides an alternative to laser treatment. Light therapy is a safer non-invasive treatment with minimal discomfort.
IPL (Intense Pulse Light) works by sending different wavelengths to the targeting tissue. IPL therapy session is a quick lunchtime treatment that can be done in 15 to 30 minutes.
For best results 3 to 4 sessions are recommended at 3 to 4 week intervals with maintenance treatments 6 to 12 months apart.
How is the treatment done?
Protective goggles are worn during the treatment session for eye protection. To start treatment, gel is applied to the treatment area.
During the treatment you may experience a warm sensation (from the light trigger) and pressure at the treatment area.
After the treatment?
Mild redness may be experienced after treatment which will fade within a couple of days. Once the treatment is done you can resume regular daily activities and makeup can be applied immediately after. Sun protection (sunscreen and wide brim hats) is encouraged AND recommended after and in between treatments.
Dry Eye Management (MGD)
Are you experiencing dry, itchy, burning eyes? Eye fatigue?
You may be experiencing Dry Eye Symptoms otherwise known as Meibomian Gland Dysfunction (MGD). Meibomian glands are considered the leading cause in Dry Eye Disease; between 30 to 40 million Americans are estimated to suffer from Dry Eye Disease.
IPL treatment is trusted by leading professionals in treating Dry Eye Symptoms.
IPL therapy treatments have shown an improvement in tear break up time.
Light Therapy Technology works by penetrating the tissue and creating heat targeting the abnormal vessels that are the cause of inflammation. Light therapy treats the skin and eyelid inflammation while improving overall skin appearance.
For best results 3 to 4 treatments are recommended with maintenance treatments recommended after 6 to 12 months apart.

Rosacea
IPL treatment improves redness, flushing, small blood vessels, and overall skin appearance. Rosacea treatment is done to reduce and tone down the redness caused by rosacea.
Light impulses penetrate the skin tissue and create heat inside the blood vessels which closes the vessels walls and eventually cause them to disappear.
Photo-Rejuvenation/ Skin Rejuvenation
IMPROVES pigmentation, sun spots, broken capillaries, overall skin appearance, and discoloration.
IPL treatment for Photo-rejuvenation works by removing imperfections and stimulating collagen and elastic fiber production over a sequence of treatments. The body’s natural process removes the treated tissue while collagen and elastic fiber stimulation improves the skins appearance.
With light therapy treatment you will not have peeling or harsh chemicals on your skin!
Active Acne Solution
IPL therapy eliminates bacteria within pores, improves skin appearance and is a great alternative in comparison to oral medication. Treatment targets redness and pigmentation and is a great non-invasive treatment.
Improve your skin appearance and reduce acne!
With light therapy the biochemical responses of the body will eliminate the bacteria within the pores responsible for active acne. Light energy is used to selectively destroy pigment cluster, blood filled capillary, veins, and depigmentation.
Facial Hair Removal
Tired of waxing/shaving? IPL treatment therapy is a great alternative.
After a series of treatments, you will be left with smooth, glowing skin. IPL technology targets the hair follicles and impairs future hair growth and is most effective on black, brown and red hair.
